In just over two years since it was founded by several core members of the hospitality industry, the Louisiana Hospitality Foundation has contributed to children's causes and culinary education in the state.
Emeril Lagasse Foundation thanks LHF for donating a portion of the funds raised at Champions Club at the Zurich Classic 2008. The Champions Club is a project of the LHF, which provides a tasting of New Orleans’ finest restaurants in an air-conditioned VIP tent at the annual PGA tournament. The idea to form the new foundation arose from the numerous requests Louisiana restaurateurs receive to provide food for charity events, and it looks forward to much growth in both fundraising and providing grants in the future.
