RENOWNED POP ARTIST BURTON MORRIS DAZZLES SOUTH FLORIDA
Internationally renowned pop artist Burton Morris, famous for his distinctive style, characterized by radiant black outlines and vivid colors, will show his new originals at an exhibit called “New Work/New Gallery, at ADAMAR FINE ARTS on March 8, 2008. The evening will be sponsored by Emeril's, Miami Beach, and the artwork will benefit the Emeril Lagasse Foundation, which raises money for children in New Orleans.

MRS. LAURA BUSH PRESENTED NATIONAL COMING UP TALLER AWARD TO LYNN MEADOWS DISCOVERY CENTER
(WASHINGTON, D.C.) The Lynn Meadows Discovery Center for Children, which created the WINGS performing arts program as a vehicle for helping Gulf Coast elementary, middle and high school students to develop important life skills, was nationally recognized as one of 18 youth arts and humanities programs to receive the prestigious 2007 Coming Up Taller Award. Youth and adult representatives of the program traveled to Washington, D.C. for a Monday, January 28 ceremony in the East Room of the White House, where Mrs. Laura Bush will present the awards.

EMERIL'S DELMONICO PASTRY CHEF TEACHES “KIDS IN THE KITCHEN”
Today, Emeril’s Delmonico pastry chef Jennifer McCoy demonstrated preparation of a biscuit with an organic peach compote, topped with whipped Creole cream cheese to the cooking club at Samuel L. Green Charter School, the site of Edible Schoolyard NOLA. This continues a relationship with Green started by the Emeril Lagasse Foundation, which granted nearly $100,000 last year to the Edible Schoolyard to build its outdoor classroom.

ELF SUMMER ART CAMP AT THE CAC
Emeril Lagasse Foundation was the title sponsor of Summer Art Camp at the Contemporary Arts Center. This comprehensive arts education program educated over 100 children a week from ages 6 to 17 over four weeks in July.

CULINARY ARTS FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AT NOCCA
This Summer, ELF was proud collaborate and fund a 2-week intensive pilot program for 13 high school students. A guest instructor from Chef Emeril’s alma mater Johnson and Wales University taught the NOCCA Summer Session at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside.

KIDS CAFE OPENS AT XAVIER UNIVERSITY
Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana announces the grand opening of a Kids Cafe site in Xavier University, sponsored by Emeril Lagasse Foundation. In addition to providing hot meals to hungry kids, Kids Cafe programs also offers a safe place, where under the supervision of trustworthy staff, a child can get involved in educational, recreational and social activities that draw on existing community programs and often include family members.

LHF TO HOST CHAMPIONS CLUB AT ZURICH CLASSIC
Emeril Lagasse Foundation thanks Louisiana Hospitality Foundation for donating a portion of the funds raised at Champions Club at the Zurich Classic 2006. The Champions Club is a project of the LHF, which provides a tasting of New Orleans’ finest restaurants in an air-conditioned VIP tent at the annual PGA tournament.
